UPDATE!!! The signs are up!!! Service has been underway for over a week now. And ALL is good! I want to share a little bit about our team. Literally almost overnight they made this happen. We were able to say, “Hey crew. We are opening this up. We need all supplies and equipment ordered, and half of the practice moved… in less than a month.” And without blinking they said, “Let’s go.” This is what they do. I will feel forever blessed to be a part of this team and a part of something beautiful happening. So let’s go. There’s way more to come.😉🧡🩵🌷

🎉 Exciting news! The Parkinson’s Center of Acadiana at RISE PT has officially opened its doors! 🥊✨

This center provides resources and support for individuals with Parkinson’s and their families, offering Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy, as well as evidence-based programs like LSVT BIG®, LSVT LOUD®, PWR!, and Rock Steady Boxing to help improve movement, communication, and overall quality of life. 💜

📣📣We have a BIG announcement!📣📣
About a year and a half ago, someone in the room looked around and said “WHAT IF”… (Which scares the heck out of us… because we have LOTS of big dreamers in the room!😂🤩)
BUT… this “What If” stuck. They said, “What if… We had a Parkinson’s Center… One that when someone was diagnosed with Parkinson’s they knew exactly where to go. Where there was a hub of community resources and all the therapy they need, including Rock Steady Boxing, LSVT BIG and LOUD, PWR!, etc… along with people who they knew cared immensely about them and would do everything to help as they and their family navigate their journey to come.”
When that “What If” was thrown out there and everyone in the room’s eyes lit up and said… YES!!!… We knew we had something. And we have been bound and determined to figure it out since. We have been looking for spaces around town and when God opened the doors to a building that was beautiful and perfect… RIGHT next-door… We knew it was meant to be!!!!
