Wille A. Syrie
Facility Supervisor / Funeral Assistant
Willie A. Syrie is a native of Lafayette who now resides in Breaux Bridge, LA. He is the son of Willie Syrie and Georgia Mae Mouton Syrie. He is a graduate of Holy Rosary Institute Class of 1975. He is the grandson of Carol Syrie Sr. and Sedonia Gray Syrie. Willie Jr. worked in the oilfield for 24 years where he worked his way up to becoming a 200 Ton Captain of a 200 ft lift boat where he retired in 2018.
After retiring, he worked as a removal specialist and funeral assistant in the Funeral Home industry for approximately 6 years before joining the family business. He brings a wealth of knowledge and love for the business. He believes that everyone deserves to be treated with kindness. He truly loves his job, and he sees it as a ministry to help families heal from their loss.
He is the husband of Kathalyn D. St. Julien Syrie. Together they have a set of twins, Tyler J. Syrie and Taylor J. Syrie. Together Wille and Kathalyn have four grandchildren, two boys and two girls. Willie also has a daughter, Toriyandia Noel, and three additional grandchildren. It is truly the honor of his life to be working in the family business. He strives to make sure that Syrie Funeral Home is continued for generations to come.
