Three things we need to accept this International Day of Persons with Disabilities:

1. ADHD and Autism are disabilities, not just "quirks."
2. "Disabled" is not an insult. It is a legal and social category that grants rights and protections.
3. You are "disabled enough." You don't have to be in crisis to deserve support.

Stop gatekeeping yourself and others. If your brain makes life harder in an ableist world, this day is for you, too.
