Our December MVP of the month is Recruiter Anya Thibodeaux!
Anya has pushed the recruiting envelope in the Houston Region to new heights. She is currently the leading recruiter within the National EMS Academy team, responsible for no fewer than 365 hires to date. If she stopped today it would equate to Anya bringing in one person per day for the entire year.
Not only is she speaking individually to candidates, but Anya has proven to be great on camera, speaking to audiences across Texas. She embodies the spirit that is driving our company towards goals only dreamed of in the past.

Acadian Total Security Regional Sales Rep Caleb Simon and PR & Marketing Creative Developer Jonathan Adams were part of a team who created Louisiana’s newest festival. The Louisiana Mosquito Festival was held in October in Cankton, LA, as a fundraiser for the Coulee Croche Firefighters Association, a nonprofit that supports the Cankton Volunteer Fire Department. Acadian Total Security was one of the event sponsors.
The money raised is going toward recruitment, training, and retention — helping support the people who drop everything to answer the call.
“They drop what they’re doing when their pagers go off — even at 2 a.m. on Christmas — to protect their community,” Caleb said.
Although the day started off rainy, the skies cleared for a full day of live music from six local bands, cook-off, fun jumps, and a dunking booth where the Mayor and Chief of Police took the plunge. There was also a blood drive, concessions, crafts, face painting, a silent auction, games, and a “buzzing competition” to see who can make the loudest mosquito sound.
The second annual festival is already in the works for September 2026.

We’re proud to share several leadership transitions within our Human Resources department. After 25 years of dedicated service, Vice President of Human Resources Joe Lightfoot will retire. Joe played a key role in our growth, helping our company expand from 1,500 to more than 5,500 employee-owners.
We’re also pleased to announce the promotions of Krista Gravouia to Vice President of Human Resources and Allyson Duck to Director of Human Resources. Please join us in congratulating Krista and Allyson, and in thanking Joe for his years of leadership and service.
