The release of the ASA's 2026 Perioperative Pain Guidelines highlights the growing emphasis on multimodal, evidence-informed perioperative pain care.

These principles closely align with Essential Anesthesia Management’s position statement, including ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia, point-of-care ultrasound, and enhanced recovery pathways implemented in collaboration with our hospital partners.
