One of the biggest mistakes I see women making today is Unrealistic goal setting!
(Ex: I wanna get back to the “Size” or “Weight” I was before kids! 🙄)

I’m not here to judge, but here’s some facts about the average “Woman’s Body” after she gives birth to help you understand why! 👇🏼

⚠️Facts about MOST women after pregnancy:

📍Hormonal changes, and fluctuations including the introduction of new hormones to support her new baby (Breast Feeding)

📍Spreading of hip bones, ribs, and stomach muscles (Give birth)

📍Increase in appetite due to stress hormones (Cortisol-belly fat)

📍Lack of sleep-Necessary for weight loss & optimal body function.

📍Fluid volume, (Blood, Water, Electrolytes)

Moment of Transparency:
Many yrs ago I used unhealthy coping strategies to suppress my emotions instead of working on my mental health.
When people say I inspire them, I often don’t know how to respond.
It’s because I can’t ever take credit for the things that God has done in my life.

My point is to let you know that God loves you, & If you allow him into your heart your life will be transformed forever! Mind, Body, & Soul. When you love God & know him for yourself, you will aim to please him in any way you can!

Fasting & Prayer
Physical Activity
Skating
Worship & Music
Stretching

HELPFUL TIPS TO TRIM YOUR WAISTLINE:

-Workout your back
-Perform Compound Exercises (Squats, Deadlifts)
-Breathe through each exercise focusing on control & form
-Supplement with 1 Tbsp of Apple Cider Vinegar (AM & PM)
-Meet your daily water intake goals
(Weight (lbs) X 0.5) = Oz per day
-Cut out added sugars

FUN FACT ABOUT ME:
I don’t perform isolated exercises. (crunches, sit-ups etc.) My food & water intake along with my training regimen is effective to reach my current goals.

QUICK TIP:
Save time in the gym by doing Compound Exercises!
-It works multiple muscle groups
-Saves Time
-Increases core strength (Abdomen)
-Burns more calories

Ex: Deadlifts, Squats, Lateral Pull Downs, Seated Rows.

FUN FACT: I combine compound lifts and supersets in the gym. My breaks in between sets are minimal. My focus is control, breathing properly, & hydration!

REAL LIFE:
The majority of people I encountered or trained wanted to LOSE WEIGHT.

SAD REALITY:
People care more about their weight, and physical appearance than their health.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT:
Your weight is just a number on the scale.
It’s not a reliable or healthy indicator of good health.
You can be 120lbs still fighting diabetes, or high blood pressure because you refuse to change your bad habits!

There are times when I’m 𝐒𝐎 hard on myself as a mother…and then there are moments when 𝐆𝐨𝐝 helps me to see things in a different perspective. 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘣𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘳. ❤️🙌🏽⁣

• 𝗪𝐡𝐞𝐧 I sacrifice my alone time, for theirs I’m displaying 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬. ⁣
• 𝗪𝐡𝐞𝐧 I prayed & worshipped in their presence, they began 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐝 on their own.⁣
•𝗪𝐡𝐞𝐧 I apologized for yelling, & being 𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐲, I showed them 𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞.⁣
•𝗪𝐡𝐞𝐧 I disciplined them, they learned to 𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐲 & 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭.⁣
•𝗪𝐡𝐞𝐧 I showed them affection, after being corrected, I taught them how to 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞.
