As we near the end of Black History Month, we want to reflect on those who have contributed to our progress, history, and education through their bravery and success.

One of our staff-led committees compiled a slideshow titled “Cultured Corner” that recognizes these individuals, showcases local Black-owned businesses, and shares upcoming events in the area centered around black history.

At The Family Tree, we acknowledge the importance of learning Black history. Not just during designated months, but daily, as it is essential to foster a community rooted in growth and unity.

We encourage you to explore Black history through this slideshow by visiting the link below to learn about and reflect on those who have and will impact our history.
