MOAA - Acadiana Chapter The Acadiana Chapter of MOAA was chartered November 3, 1973. Its geographic area is comprised of 11 parishes. We have monthly meetings combined with a meal

We meet at a different restaurant around the region each month to have our meeting. We vary from a lunch to a dinner to align with different schedules.

22 Vets a day surrender to their demons. May I please get 2 friends or family members (out of all my friends on my page) to copy & re-post? Someone’s life may depend on it!

I have never done one of these copy and repost things, but I remember so many vets, especially Vietnam vets, on the streets of the Tenderloin (my neighborhood in San Francisco) living in appalling conditions on the streets, taught many middle east vets with PTSD at CCSF, am good friends with a psychiatrist who heads VA care in SoCal, have a cousin high up in Veterans affairs for Louisiana, and have vets in the family, including bronze stars and purple hearts. I also know a lot of people who are not vets but have committed su***de because of mental health issues or because they were LGBTQ. 💔💔💔 Call 988 is for ANYONE considering su***de!!!

Since the $7.99 charge is coming, I do not give permission to Facebook to charge $7.99 a month to my account, also, all of my pictures are property of myself and not Facebook!
So now they are doing it, we just saw on Channel 13 News, that Facebook will be charging all users starting Monday. You can do an "opt-out" by posting the above. Hold your fingers over and copy. Bye Bye ads
