When is the best time to sign up for placenta encapsulation? ⁠

Well... it's never too early. When you register there is a $25 deposit that pays for your placenta transport kit that is mailed to you a month before your due date. If you change your mind before that time, you can get your deposit back. ⁠
⁠
And... it's usually not too late to sign up as long as we can get a kit to you in time for safe storage and temperatures. ⁠
⁠
If you are on the fence about encapsulation, you can always save your placenta form birth and freeze it. If you decide you want to encapsulate at a different time, message me! If this is the route you're leaning towards, contact me so we can review safe storage protocols. :)⁠

But to answer the question, I'd say around 30 weeks or when you start your third trimester. ⁠

A survey conducted by Placenta Services of Australia found that 95% of people surveyed reported they would recommend placenta encapsulation to friends and family.

They did their research! One of the many things I love about many of my clients is they are informed. They do their research into what is best for them and their baby. I love answering questions and if I'm unsure, I go do my research and brainstorm with my certification mentors at the Association of Placenta Preparation Arts. ⁠

Increased energy and milk supply were the most obvious in my with my . I was able to persevere through the growth spurts my baby had while maintaining some sanity and my milk supply. I simply felt like I knew I should be tired but I had a peace about feeling okay about it. The amount of energy I had compared to my other postpartum was undeniable.
