Pediatric Wellness Group

Pediatric Wellness Group Hi, we are PWG! Specialized in lactation, infant feeding, tongue ties, speech & myofunctional therapy

03/09/2026

💥 Evaluating oral function
💥 Teaching tongue posture & proper swallowing
💥 Helping kids breathe better through their nose
💥 Improving speech clarity
💥 Strengthening oral muscles
💥 Coaching parents through home exercises
💥 Celebrating every tiny win along the way

And while we absolutely love helping babies, our work doesn’t stop there 👶➡️🧒➡️👦

At Pediatric Wellness Group we work with kids of all ages who may struggle with things like:
• mouth breathing
• speech clarity
• tongue thrust
• feeding challenges
• sleep-related breathing issues
• oral motor coordination

Because sometimes the “boom” moment is when a child finally says a sound clearly… breathes through their nose… or gains confidence in their voice.

And those wins?
They’re BIG ones. 💥

Today we’re celebrating two incredible women behind Pediatric Wellness Group — Sienna and Leasa. 💜

What started as a shared passion for supporting families has grown into something so much bigger. Together, they took a leap of faith, built a business from the ground up, and created a space where mothers, babies, and children can truly thrive.

Building a business isn’t easy — but building one side by side as women who believe in each other is powerful. Through long days, big dreams, and a commitment to changing the way families experience care, Sienna and Leasa have shown what’s possible when passion meets purpose.

They didn’t just start a clinic.
They built a community.

A place where mothers feel supported.
Where babies get the care they deserve.
Where families feel heard.

Today we celebrate their courage, their friendship, and the impact they continue to make every single day.

Here’s to women who build together, grow together, and change the world together. 🌎✨

Happy International Women’s Day to Sienna and Leasa — and to all the women out there turning their dreams into something that makes a difference. 💪

Yesterday was IBCLC Day, and we want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate someone who makes an incredible impact on the families we serve every single day — Sienna, our amazing IBCLC.

Sienna shows up for mothers and babies with so much compassion, knowledge, and dedication. The early days of feeding a newborn can feel overwhelming, emotional, and sometimes even discouraging, but Sienna has a remarkable way of making families feel supported, confident, and capable. Her ability to listen, educate, encourage, and problem-solve has helped so many parents navigate their feeding journeys with reassurance and success.

Whether she’s helping with latch and positioning, supporting families through challenges, celebrating the wins, or simply being a calm and reassuring presence during such a vulnerable time, Sienna truly embodies what it means to care for families holistically. Her passion for supporting breastfeeding families and her commitment to evidence-based care makes such a meaningful difference in our community.

At Pediatric Wellness Group, we are incredibly grateful to have Sienna on our team. The care she provides goes far beyond appointments — she empowers parents, nurtures confidence, and helps create strong foundations for both babies and families.

Please join us in showing Sienna some love and appreciation for the work she does and the countless families she supports every day. We are so lucky to have you, Sienna! 💚

So much love, passion, and creativity goes into creating sustainable and impactful wellness in our kiddos. And it starts with teamwork 💚💛🩵🩷💜

“Why have we not been doing this weekly?”
“Book the kids too.”
“Cancel dinner. I live here now.”
“This is cheaper than therapy.” 😌

We know those conversations are happening in that salt room. And honestly? We support it.

Season changes can hit hard — allergies flare, sinuses clog, coughs linger, skin gets dry and irritated. Halotherapy can help:

✨ Loosen mucus & support clear airways
✨ Reduce inflammation in the respiratory tract
✨ Support immune function during seasonal transitions
✨ Calm irritated skin (eczema, dryness, etc.)
✨ Promote relaxation (because let’s be honest… we all need that)

Slow, steady, healing — just like our little Torty 🐢💜

If you’ve been thinking about trying it… this is your sign.

Some days the office feels like a full-on relay race — phones ringing, rooms turning over, everyone speed-walking like it’s an Olympic sport — but every scramble means another patient getting the care they need. It might look chaotic from the outside, but inside it’s teamwork, trust, and a whole lot of love for the families we serve. Busy days are exhausting… and also the biggest reminder of why we do what we do 💜

When trying to achieve a deep, comfortable latch, I always suggest going through a mental checklist:
1. Is baby’s head straight, with the neck facing forward and angled slightly upward? (Think about how we drink a glass of water — it’s hard to drink while looking down, to the side, or with no open space between the neck and chin.)
2. Is baby tummy-to-tummy with mom? No matter the position mom chooses, bellies should always face bellies.
3. Are baby’s ear, shoulder, and hip aligned? Again, this optimizes oral function.
4. Is mom’s hand or pillow supporting the back of the neck/upper shoulders, and NOT holding directly onto the back of the head? Holding the head inhibits the gape reflex, which is what allows a big, wide-open mouth to draw more tissue in during the latch.
5. Is the angle at the corner of baby’s mouth wide? (Ideally over 135 degrees.) Or does it look closer to a 90-degree angle? The wider the angle, the deeper the latch.

These are just a few things I like to point out when teaching latch and positioning. Many moms adopt some version of this checklist when latching baby to help ensure everyone is comfortable and happy.

Serving families in our community is truly one of the greatest privileges of what we do. Every appointment, every conversation, every milestone we witness reminds us why PWG exists — to support, uplift, and walk alongside parents and kids with care that feels personal, compassionate, and rooted in community. We’re so grateful to be trusted with your families. 🤍

We laugh… but home treatment plans are where the real progress happens. The few minutes you spend each day practicing exercises at home help reinforce what we work on in sessions, build muscle memory, and speed up results. Skipping them is kind of like going to the gym once and expecting a six-pack.

Consistency = better outcomes, faster progress, and happier little bodies. We promise we don’t assign homework just for fun — it’s because we want your child to succeed. 💚

Keep practicing, trust the process, and we’ll celebrate the wins together!

This work is more than a job. It’s late-night messages, reassurance when moms doubt themselves, celebrating tiny wins, and reminding families they’re doing better than they think. My “obsession” with infant feeding became a career rooted in compassion, education, and advocacy — and I’m grateful every day that I get to do this. Being an IBCLC is a privilege.

We know mornings with kids can feel like a full Olympic event...
missing shoes, surprise meltdowns, snack negotiations, and someone always has to p**p right when you’re leaving
Trust us - we get it.
But when an appointment is missed without notice, another family loses a chance for care and our providers lose protected time.
That’s why we have a 50% no-show fee in place - not to be mean, but to keep things fair for all our families
If your day starts going off the rails, just give us a heads up. We’re parents too. We understand more than you think 💜💚💜💚
