Maternity leave update from Leasa 💛

I’m getting ready to welcome our newest little one, and I wanted to share a warm update with all the families I care for. I’ll be stepping away for maternity leave very soon so I can soak up this special time with my growing family. During this period, I won’t be seeing any little ones over 12 months or taking on speech and language cases. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding—it truly means the world.

I’m planning to return the second week of May, and I’ll be coming back with a tiny sidekick in tow. I’m already looking forward to reconnecting with everyone and easing back into sessions with the same heart, energy, and support you’re used to.

For my moms and babies:
Online booking will still be available while I’m away. Just head to the “Lactation Consulting” section when scheduling—everything you need is right there and easy to navigate. (Under 12 months old)

For parents of older kiddos:
If you have a 3‑year‑old, an 18‑year‑old, or anyone in between needing myofunctional therapy or speech, May appointments are already open. Feel free to grab a spot that works best for your family’s routine.

Thank you again for all the love and support as I take this time to welcome our new baby. I can’t wait to see you all again in May and continue supporting your little (and not‑so‑little!) ones.

Yesterday was IBCLC Day, and we want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate someone who makes an incredible impact on the families we serve every single day — Sienna, our amazing IBCLC.

Sienna shows up for mothers and babies with so much compassion, knowledge, and dedication. The early days of feeding a newborn can feel overwhelming, emotional, and sometimes even discouraging, but Sienna has a remarkable way of making families feel supported, confident, and capable. Her ability to listen, educate, encourage, and problem-solve has helped so many parents navigate their feeding journeys with reassurance and success.

Whether she’s helping with latch and positioning, supporting families through challenges, celebrating the wins, or simply being a calm and reassuring presence during such a vulnerable time, Sienna truly embodies what it means to care for families holistically. Her passion for supporting breastfeeding families and her commitment to evidence-based care makes such a meaningful difference in our community.
