We are beyond proud to announce that Dr. Johnson has officially passed his board exam and is now a Board-Certified Orthodontist!

✨ What does “board certified” mean?
Board certification is a voluntary achievement that goes beyond licensure, requiring orthodontists to demonstrate exceptional knowledge, clinical skill, and a commitment to the highest standards of patient care through rigorous written and clinical examinations.

📚 How does the board process work?
After completing dental school and an accredited orthodontic residency, orthodontists must first pass Part I of the board exam. Only then are they eligible to take Part II, which involves an extensive clinical case review and evaluation. Successfully completing both parts is what earns the distinction of being Board Certified—a true mark of excellence and dedication to the profession.
