CSPT crew had the pleasure of meeting with Dr Eric Traister from Longs Peak Sports Medicine to discuss his PRP injection and Tenex procedure protocol!

We’re super excited to explore this treatment option further to assist in healing and rehabilitation for patients with chronic tendonopathy.

Leah is CRUSHING her hip rehab! Even after Hunter, her PT, had her do this exercise she was quoted saying that “she’s been to many PTs, and although this one is the hardest, it’s also so much fun”

And we couldn’t agree more with this sentiment for our clinic 🩵💙🩶 Go Leah!

✨PATIENT HIGHLIGHT ✨
After a sternal and neck injury on the slopes sidelined him last season, Logan is working hard and crushing his PT! To get ready for this ski season, we’re working on both neck strength and concussion prevention with our Iron Neck device. The goal is to build strength and tissue tolerance in his neck and upper back, so should he fall, his neck is stronger at absorbing impact and preventing harsh concussions. Let’s go Logan! ⛷️💪🏼

What happens after a Dry Needle treatment? 🧐

A patient may experience different sensations when being needled such as muscle soreness, aching and or a muscle twitch. This is considered to be a good sign. It’s important that once the targeted area was needled, that a few exercises are performed, this is to help retrain your muscle to fire on correctly!

*Dry Needle Therapy is not a quick fix, it takes time and a few sessions to begin to notice the effectiveness. Also consult your PT if you have questions or curious if Dry Needly Therapy is for you
