Today I’m traveling to D.C. to do some advocacy work for while also attending the memorial for our late attorney Jim. I was sad when I got off the plane to find out that Queen Elizabeth II had passed. Like many of you, I’ve always been fascinated by the royal family, and I was always proud to know that we shared something in common: A love for homeopathy.
To me, it’s no coincidence that Queen Elizabeth was the longest reigning monarch to have ever lived, and that she used homeopathy faithfully throughout her life. Her well-known physician of many years was medical doctor in Homeopath, Dr. Peter Fischer. Many of the other members of the royal family have used homeopathy as well.
According to , “The most famous homeopath to royalty was Sir John Weir (1879–1971), who served six monarchs: King Edward VII, George V, Edward VIII, Duke of Windsor, George VI), Elizabeth II, King Gustav V of Sweden (1858–1950), and King Haakon VII of Norway (1872–1957).”
Queen Elizabeth II lived an amazing life. She served as a full-time, active member of the military in WWII (maintaining vehicles), had an unlikely friendship with Winston Churchill when he served as Prime Minister, and modernized many aspects of the monarchy. As her son takes over as King, I am eager to see what he brings to the table, especially since he too, is an ardent proponent of homeopathic medicine.
