I am back in the office today. It was strange but very relaxing, this was the first vacation I’ve taken in 17 years where I did not bring my appointment book and it was pretty cool. Even on vacation I travel with a massage kit. I keep olive oil for dry skin and target massages after a long day. There’s always sports tape and a mini massage gun plus a hand roller I keep in the room fridge. In addition I keep a cold/hot pack and lastly a couple of different creams as I know that there is no one universal cream that’s best for all circumstances.

I am 1000% dedicated to the belief that anybody can do yoga. You just have to learn what works for your body and do those modifications.

I had a client today. I always do some stretches with, but she was really interested in doing more with her limited mobility so while she’s on the massage table laying down, I lay on the floor next to the massage table and go through a sequence that she can do in her bed to warm up those muscles before she gets out of bed.

My client texted me last night (before her massage today) and told me that she had a migraine, that she felt like her body needed a little bit extra attention. Message understood loud and clear! She was head to toe CBD oil with some magnesium on her feet. A gentle but firm massage with no elbows digging in her back.

Just like every home, I think every business owns their version of a tool kit. Mine happens to be a small rechargeable drill and a Rubbermaid style clear shoebox with a variety of odds and ends. So that way when my rolling chair rolls over my curtain and I bring the curtain down in a non-theatrical manner :-) I can quickly fix it, or at least when my client gets off the table😳🤦🏻‍♀️☺️
