Please help up welcome Miranda Charles, LPC to our team! She counsels from a trauma-informed, integrative perspective, pulling from various psychotherapeutic modalities such as Person-Centered Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Polyvagal Theory, and Family Systems.

Miranda’s goal is to help clients gain insight into how their unprocessed past experiences get stored within the nervous system, resulting in them being stuck in survival mode, manifesting into a variety of symptoms and problems. Using this insight, she supports clients in practicing self-compassion and empowering themselves to change patterns, beliefs, behaviors, and systems.

She is taking new clients immediately! Call to schedule 😀

We are so thankful for being recognized for our Counselors' hard work in the community!

April has been officially declared Counseling Awareness Month by the Louisiana Counseling Association (LCA)! This month is dedicated to recognizing the vital work that professional counselors do to support mental health, personal growth, and overall well-being in our communities.

Counselors play a crucial role in helping individuals navigate life’s challenges—whether it’s managing stress, coping with trauma, strengthening relationships, or fostering self-discovery. Their dedication to providing compassionate and ethical care makes a profound impact on countless lives.

As we celebrate Counseling Awareness Month, we encourage you to take part in spreading awareness and advocating for mental health support.

Here’s how you can get involved:
✅ Thank a counselor—whether it’s a friend, colleague, or someone who has supported you.
✅ Share your story—if counseling has positively impacted your life, let others know!
✅ Promote mental wellness—check in on loved ones, encourage self-care, and break the stigma around seeking help.
✅ Engage with LCA—stay connected with us for resources, events, and ways to support professional counseling in Louisiana.

Join us in celebrating the power of counseling this month and beyond!

Tag a counselor who has made a difference in your life and help us spread the word.
