Saturday, May 24th the Carmelite Nuns will be celebrating Mother Mary John’s 70th Anniversary of Religious Profession with a Mass of Thanksgiving at 10:00 AM. Bishop J. Douglas Deshotel, Bishop of Lafayette, will be celebrating the Mass at the Carmelite Monastery chapel accompanied by many concelebrants and Carmelite Priests. Fr. Daniel Chowning, OCD, Provincial of the Discalced Carmelite Friars of the Washington Province, will be the homilist. Any priests are welcomed to concelebrate, and all are invited to join us on this beautiful day of the anniversary and renewal of vows of Mother Mary John of the Cross, OCD (Shirley Anne Billeaud).

The Mass will be live streamed for friends and family that are unable to attend.
