💥💥We are working on expanding our feeding and swallowing support programs for our community — and we want to make sure we are building something that truly meets the needs of our local facilities, staff, and caregivers.💥💥

If you work in assisted living, skilled nursing, home health, or care for someone with feeding/swallowing challenges, or have swallowing difficulties we would love your input!

We created a short survey (just a few minutes) to better understand:
• common mealtime challenges
• training needs for staff
• resources that would be helpful for caregivers and individuals with swallowing difficulties
• materials that are hard to access quickly

⛳️ Therapy Doesn’t Always Look Like a Clinic Room 🧠

Sometimes therapy means getting out into the community and practicing skills in real-life environments.

We took therapy to the mini golf course and go-kart track! While it may look like fun (and it was!), we were actually working on several important cognitive skills including:
🧠 Attention and focus
👁 Depth perception and visual-spatial awareness
🧩 Planning and problem solving
🎯 Motor coordination and timing

Functional activities like these allow us to challenge the brain in meaningful, engaging ways that translate into everyday life.
