The storm is supposed to slow down around midnight. The tentative plan is that the snow removal will start in the city around that time.
Follow snow removal policies. No parking on Main Avenue from 6th Street to 9th street.

Move your vehicle to a plowed area.

Be kind and help your neighbors, if there is a hydrant on your street, help in keeping it cleaned out.

FYI. No food truck tonight, so that's a wrap of the 2025 season. We will work to continue this Monday Food Truck night.
Thanks to everyone who supported these small businesses.
If you go to a different food truck let us know and we can see if they will venture out to Lafayette!

Green light a Vet.
A green porch light is a symbol of appreciation and support for Veterans. This is a campaign by Walmart and other military support organizations to raise awareness to veterans, service members and their families.
The Lafayette Legion Post #300 has supplied a limited amount of bulbs, so stop by if you need one and light up your porch in November!!

All residents have or will receive a survey. This is for the possibility of DEED funds to use with our Reverse Osmosis addition to be built at the water plant.

It is very important that everyone return the survey as soon as possible. Your survey will be kept confidential as we only need how many live in the house and total household income.

We are a small city and getting funding helps everyone, whether you own or rent, utility rates affect us all.
