MEET CHARLES EMERSON, MD, FAMILY MEDICINE SPECIALIST, as he joins our Macon Community Hospital family of healthcare providers!
DR. EMERSON GRADUATED WITH HIS DOCTOR OF MEDICINE from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, then completed an internship in obstetric medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, followed by an Occupational Medicine residency at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical
Center. He is certified in basic, pediatric, and advanced cardiac life support, with added expertise in trauma care.
DR. EMERSON IS NOW ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS! He is specially trained to diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, and he looks forward to providing the comprehensive, patient-centered care our community deserves.
IN HIS SPARE TIME, DR. EMERSON ENJOYS traveling and spending time with his wife, Cindy, and their family.
Dr. Emerson has joined Family Care Center and can be reached at their office for appointments.

Wednesday was extra special at the hospital as the Central Elementary School 3rd grade students visited to sing Christmas carols to our patients, visitors, and staff.

Last Thursday night our annual Christmas movie night for our employees and their families! Everyone enjoyed a special visit from Santa, followed by a cozy showing of Home Alone.
