Celebrating Excellence in Nursing 🎉

Macon Community Hospital is proud to recognize Emma Rainey, RN on her graduation from the Tennessee Hospital Association (THA) Nurse Residency Program!

Emma has been a dedicated RN at Macon Community Hospital for over a year, and this achievement reflects her commitment to continued learning and exceptional patient care. Her advisor, Cherese Brooks (THA), joined hospital staff in celebrating this milestone accomplishment.

Emma’s presentation on a Tranexamic Acid Pediatric Protocol was supported by her Emergency Department colleagues, Sydney Sturm, RN and Kayla Swindle, RN, who are also participants in the residency program.

We are also proud to have additional nursing team members currently enrolled in the THA Nurse Residency Program:
• Miranda Driver, RN (Med-Surg)
• Kara Case, RN (Med-Surg)

The celebration was made even more special with recognition from Mayor Jones, Macon Community Hospital CEO Scott Tongate, and Ferroll Thomas (THA Nurse Residency Program).
