Dr. Voltz recently testified at the Louisiana Legislative House Committee on Education discussing the the importance of high school education on fetal development.

Here you can see him showing a 9w5d fetus in the womb and the close-up photo of that image.

At Acadiana OB/GYN, our doctors are committed to advocating for patients in the womb. And as a practice whose mission is rooted in our Catholic faith, we wholeheartedly work to support pro-life efforts in Louisiana.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Did you know…

☘️ St. Patrick used the three-leaf clover as a visual guide for explaining the Holy Trinity, which is why he is traditionally depicted holding a clover.

☘️ St. Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland, but he was born in Britain. The reason we associate St. Patrick with Ireland because he is credited with bringing Christianity to Ireland.

☘️ We celebrate St. Patrick’s day on St. Patrick’s feast day, the anniversary of his death.

☘️ The tradition of wearing green on St. Patrick’s day has nothing to do with St. Patrick himself. This is simply a nod to Irish history and legend that Leprechauns can’t see green, and therefore can’t pinch anyone who is wearing green on St. Patrick's day.

St. Patrick, pray for us! 🙏
