AMG Specialty Hospital - Lafayette AMG Specialty Hospital – Lafayette is a 18 Bed Long Term Acute Care hospital that specializes in the management of complex medical needs.

Some of the medical conditions treated include: ventilator weaning, respiratory failure, chronic non-healing wounds, complicated infections, surgical complications, cardiac complications, nutritional management, closed-head injury, rehabilitation with complications, and other medically complex patients. Our mission is to return patients to their optimal level of well-being in the least restrictive medical environment. We accomplish this through a multi-disciplined approach that includes aggressive clinical and therapeutic interventions, as well as family involvement. Our high staff to patient ratio ensures individualized attention. Our nurses, therapists, and physicians work with each patient to obtain the best possible outcomes.

October was a busy month for LTAC of Lafayette. We honored those fighting, those we have lost and the Survivors of Breast Cancer by wearing Pink. We celebrated ESOP Month by having an ESOP / Pink Out Potluck. We also had a Western Dress Up Day along with a Pumpkin Decorating Contest. Staff and Administration had a great time coming together for all the festivities.
