NeuroCollective Where recovery meets connection. About NeuroCollective
At NeuroCollective, recovery is more than therapy—it’s connection, purpose, and community.

The NeuroCollective blends therapy, nursing, and real-world support to help adults with neurological disorders thrive within their communities. We provide an integrated approach to neurological rehabilitation by combining therapy, nursing, psychosocial support, and recovery under one collaborative brand. Our team believes that functional recovery happens best in functional settings, where real-wor

ld routines meet clinical expertise. From outpatient therapy and community reintegration, we focus on helping each individual rebuild independence and confidence at their own pace. Together, we’re creating a trauma-informed, person-centered recovery model that empowers adults with neurological challenges—including acquired brain injury (ABI)—to thrive within their communities.

Last Friday, Chelsie Huval had the opportunity to speak with graduate students at University of Louisiana at Lafayette Communicative Disorders Department— and it was such a meaningful experience.

We spent time diving into the role of the SLP in brain injury, with a strong focus on what truly matters: functional, real-life application in therapy. Not just what we do in the clinic—but how it carries over into everyday life, relationships, and independence.

The most powerful part of the day?
Our survivor and caregiver panel. 🤍

They shared honest, real-life experiences navigating brain injury—the challenges, the wins, and everything in between. Their voices brought a depth to the conversation that no textbook ever could, and gave these future clinicians invaluable perspective on the human side of care.

This is exactly why we do what we do at NeuroCollective—
because recovery is more than therapy… it’s about connection, purpose, and real-world impact.

So grateful to everyone who participated, shared their stories, and helped shape the next generation of clinicians. 💚

🎨✨ Last night was nothing short of spectacular! ✨🎨

We had an incredible turnout for Art Night, and the room was filled with painting, conversation, new connections, and even the beginnings of future collaborations. Most importantly, there were smiles everywhere and a shared sense of community that made the evening so special.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the heart behind what we are building. Your presence continues to help bring our mission and vision to life, and we are so grateful for each of you.

We are also excited to continue the creativity and connection next week at our Caregiver & Survivor Art Night — we hope to see many of you there!

A special thank you again to our generous sponsor Acadian Estates & Custom for helping make this event possible. Your support allowed us to create a welcoming space for our community to gather, create, and connect.

Thank you all for being part of this journey with us. 💛

✨ Tonight’s Art Night Sponsor ✨

We are incredibly grateful to Acadian Estates & Custom for generously sponsoring tonight’s Art Night. Their support helps us provide the food, materials, and welcoming space that make evenings like this possible for our NeuroCollective community.
Blake and Mattie have built their business around something we deeply value as well — the importance of people, relationships, and meaningful experiences. While the jewelry they curate may be precious, they believe the people who wear it are even more so. That same spirit of connection and care is what makes partnerships like this so meaningful.
Thank you for helping us create a special evening of creativity, conversation, and community. We are so excited for tonight! 🎨💛

💚 Grateful for Community This Brain Injury Awareness Month 💚

This month at Café Connections, we had the privilege of welcoming some wonderful guests who shared valuable knowledge and resources with our survivors and care partners.

Thank you to the Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Courtney Tibbets with Lafayette Psychology Center who joined us to discuss the importance of sleep hygiene and guided us through gentle stretches to help prepare the body for restful sleep. And a special thank you to the representatives from the LDH- Office of Aging and Adult Services for taking time to share information about the programs and resources available through the state.

Café Connections continues to be such a meaningful space for conversation, support, and community. Watching survivors connect, learn from one another, and build relationships truly fills our hearts. 💛

We are so grateful to everyone who contributes to making this space so special.

Saturday Supplement Spotlight: Organ Blend – “Ancestral Vitality”

Most modern diets are missing something our ancestors relied on for deep nourishment: organ meats.

Our Multi-Organ Blend is a powerful “nose-to-tail” superfood made from grass-fed bovine and ovine organs — delivering highly bioavailable nutrients your body instantly recognizes and uses.

Why people love it:
• Natural energy support – rich in B12, CoQ10, and heme iron
• Metabolic & adrenal support – helps combat fatigue and burnout
• Immune + skin health – packed with vitamin A, zinc, and whole-food nutrients
• Digestive support – naturally occurring enzymes from pancreas tissue
• Real food nutrition – not synthetic vitamins
Many people report improved energy, mental clarity, and overall vitality after consistent use.
Because these nutrients come from real whole-food sources, they are incredibly absorbable and support the body the way nature intended.

If you’ve been feeling:
• tired
• run down
• burned out
• nutritionally depleted
This might be something worth exploring.

We love helping people understand which supplements truly support their body and which ones they may not need.

📞 Call 337-306-9711 or message us if you’d like to learn more about our organ blend and whether it’s a good fit for you.

(And stay tuned — we’ll be highlighting one of our favorite supplements each weekend.)

💚 Wear Green for Brain Injury Awareness Month! 💚

March is Brain Injury Awareness Month, a time dedicated to increasing understanding, compassion, and support for the millions of individuals and families living with brain injury.

One simple way to show support this month is by wearing green, the color of brain injury awareness. Whether it’s a shirt, ribbon, scrubs, or even a small green accessory, it’s a small act that helps spark conversations and bring visibility to a community that is often overlooked.

Brain injury can affect anyone at any time, and awareness helps create stronger support systems, better resources, and more inclusive communities.

If you wear green this month, we would love to see it!

💚 Feel free to post a photo in the comments or share your story.

Together we can continue to raise awareness, support survivors and caregivers, and advocate for a more neurologically inclusive community.

🎨 A Gentle Reminder for Our Healthcare Community
We’re looking forward to gathering with local healthcare professionals for an evening of creativity, connection, and conversation at our upcoming Healthcare Professional Art Night.
This event is an opportunity to step away from the clinical setting, connect with others who care deeply about neurological health, and learn more about the mission and vision behind NeuroCollective.
We will have art, refreshments, and meaningful conversation as we explore ways to continue strengthening support for individuals and families navigating neurological conditions in our community.
We would love to see you there and share this space together.
