A Moms Space

A Moms Space Empower & Heal with Intuition, Meditation & Energy Tools This is a place to reclaim YOUR space! It’s important, afterall, and it should not be a (sidenote).

A Moms Space was formed by a mama who understands the challenges of motherhood (really, if you have kids, who doesn’t?), and with a deep desire to provide a place where moms can go for community and support The Moms Space was born. As mothers, our instinct is often to nurture everyone else before ourselves. When we forget to make time for self-care we end up feeling burnt-out, disconnected and don’t have enough resources to care for our families the way we would like. A Moms Space offers many opportunities to give to yourself, as well as your family:

-classes to find peace and self-connection
-fun group activities to do with your kids
-ways to connect with other mothers
-professional services to find healing and support
-fun, unique and educational retail options
-outlets to find personal inspiration
-physical & emotional support
-intuitive & spiritual path explorations
-and much more! Whether your desire is to just get out of the house for an hour, find a fun activity to do with your kids, or are seeking opportunities for deeper self-discovery and personal healing – we are here for you, from pre-pregnancy to postpartum, and all the way through motherhood & beyond. We house a gathering of private practitioners to serve your motherhood needs. Explore our list of collaborators and events to see what appeals to you! Drop in during our retail hours to shop, enjoy some some conversation and receive support from our caring staff; as well as meet other clientele who might be seeking the same things. There’s a spot for the kids to play (your supervision required)! How can you reclaim your space? Come in and give to yourself, gather with community, rejuvenate, have fun with your kids, find your truth & inspiration as a mother, and find joy as the individual that you are! Not just for moms …

We understand that the entire family unit works like cogs inside a clock, so we haven’t forgotten about dads and kids too! We have offerings for the entire family – children’s classes, events for papas, and more! Also housed within our space is an intuitive development center aimed at helping individuals to discover their truth so that they may follow their own path. Many opportunities for personal growth and self-healing will be presented on our event calendar and these events are open to everyone – parents or not!

This book also amplifies the voices of partners and dads, whose experiences are often left out, but whose stories matter deeply.

When I was pregnant with my first child, I was deep in my clairvoyant training program, dreaming about how psychic my kid would be. I envisioned a little spirit-talker who could easily see beyond this world, converse with guides, and unlock mysteries.

The truth? Nothing turned out the way I imagined.

Both of my children have shown up as beautifully unique souls, teaching me more than I ever expected.

My son, from the very start, was emotionally attuned and sensitive beyond words. Even as a 2-year-old, if I tried to put on a brave face while feeling sad inside, he would gently pat me and say, "It's going to be okay, Mama." He knew. There was no hiding my emotions from him. For all his sweetness, this sensitivity could also overwhelm him—leading to big meltdowns because he didn’t yet know how to process everything he felt.

My daughter, on the other hand, revealed a gift of effortless manifestation and connection. For example, when she was little, she would ask to visit her Nana…and before long, Nana would call, inviting us over.

It always made me pause and wonder: Was she intuitively picking up on the energy of what was already coming? Or did she send out a signal, like a clear energetic ripple, that Nana picked up and acted upon? These questions—much like the old chicken-and-egg riddle—show us how beautifully mysterious energy work and intuition can be.

Now as teenagers, their gifts are still there, but they’re evolving. Life and societal expectations have brought challenges, resistance, and questions. As their mom, my role has always been to stay connected to my intuition: to see, honor, and nurture their gifts—but also to trust them to navigate their own paths, including the struggles with, and resistances to, their gits.

This is not easy work. It requires deep self-reflection: noticing when I get triggered, where old patterns show up, and finding new ways to guide them while holding space for who they truly are. But it’s also been the honor of a lifetime.

Through my own journey, I’ve been able to help other parents better understand their children’s unique sensitivities and gifts, too—while doing the hard (but worthwhile) work of showing up in an intuitive, conscious way.

If this resonates with you—if you see glimpses of this in your kids or in yourself—I invite you to join my Nurturing Souls: Intuitive Parenting Circle starting this January.

Together, we’ll explore:

-How to nurture your children’s unique intuitive gifts
-Tools for supporting highly sensitive and emotionally attuned kids
-Simple, meaningful practices to reconnect with your own intuition

Most importantly, you’ll be in an inspirational community space where we’ll learn how to honor both our kids’ paths and our own growth as parents.

Supporting our children starts with supporting ourselves - energetically, emotionally, and spiritually. Let’s do this intuitive parenting journey together!

Teach Kids How To Meditate | Weekend Workshop for Adults

The time to empower the next generation with energy awareness tools is ever-increasing. Can you imagine having the tools to understand your own energy, how to ground and clear your space, set boundaries – and more – before the world has a chance to completely take over your innate knowingness? We will will focus on giving children the tools to learn to stay connected to their inner knowing, understand their personal space and help them connect to what is true and important for them – and let go of what isn’t!

This workshop will be jam packed with teachings for adults who are interested in helping kids learn how to meditate – specifically using the unique toolset of energy awareness visualizations. We will break it down into one tool at a time, and lead you through quite literally the kindergarden experience, or a child-like mind, of learning how to ground, set boundaries, run energy, understand your personal space, and more. Embracing each tool in an age appropriate manner, we will use familiar everyday imagery in fun visualization and meditation exercises, play games, sing songs and create art – just like you will do with children when you are ready to teach!

You will leave knowing not only how to present the techniques to different age levels, but also understand how to energetically set the space in fun and learning. We will also discuss:

+Some key experience components (physical, mental, emotional, creative, etc) needed to help bring the teachings more fully into a child’s understanding

+How to use the teachings to begin instilling emotional/somatic mindfullness within kids (and why this is important)

+Key insights about what it looks like to teach kids meditation (hint: it’s usually not them sitting still for more than a moment or two)

You will be given a packet that contains information on the teachings, creative project ideas, songs, and more that will help you bring everything to life for the kids you are working with!

This class is open to ANYONE who wishes to learn how to teach children to meditate – caregivers, yoga teachers, school-teachers, therapists, etc. You will learn how to help kids mindfully explore their personal space, their energy, their bodies and spirits! There will be a list sent to you ahead of time consisting of art supplies (standard/simple items) you will be asked to gather and bring to the zoom meetings.

OFFERED: Saturday & Sunday, June 3rd & 4th, 2023 | Zoom
Saturday June 3rd class is 10am-3pm
Sunday, June 4th class is 10am-Noon
COST: $333

Sometimes I just gotta slow down and remember this--it puts everything in perspective. ♥

🤬😭😴 I'll never forget the day I walked into the Village a raging, emotional mess. When asked how I was, all I could manage was a terse, tear-brimmed "B*tchy."

Across the room from me, a fellow mama looked up from her laptop and responded back with a sing-songy and entirely genuine "Yaaaayyyy!!!" A not-at-all-sarcastic "yay" that said everything I needed to hear: that my sh*t mood was welcome here. That I didn't need to pretend to be anything other than I was in that moment. That humaning is hard and it's ok to be real about it.

It can be REAAAALLLLYYYY hard as a new parent to leave the house. Sometimes it's the logistics of gathering and carrying all the things. Sometimes it's the unacknowledged pain we're in as we heal from our invisible birth wounds. Sometimes it's the unexplained but crippling anxiety or fear we're paralyzed with thanks to overactive hormones and an unsupportive society. And sometimes, it's the constant sense that wherever we go, we're expected to be put together, pleasant and grateful to be a parent.

But so often, we just need an effing nap. A hug. A break from our kid(s). A knowing smile. A vent sesh. Or simply ANOTHER ADULT TO TALK TO.

If you're on the fence about coming for a visit because of the effort and pressure of leaving the house, I can 88.23% guarantee that you won't regret it and I can 100% guarantee that you're welcome EXACTLY AS YOU ARE.

So bring your dark eye bags, messy buns, half-eaten Lunchables and pop on by for a nap, or whatever it is you need that day.
