The upcoming solar eclipse on April 8, 2024 invites us to reflect on our spiritual state and to consider whether we are living in the light of Christ, or in the shadow of worldly concerns. It is a moment to reflect on our inner self, to evaluate our path and to seek a closer walk with God.
”But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:“
1 Peter 2:9 KJV
In this verse, Peter is not saying that Christians are odd or unusual people, even though the world often looks at us that way. What this passage is communicating is that Christians or believers are people who belong to God, they are His own possession. Another way of saying it is that believers are “God’s own special people.”
He chose each of us to be here on this earth today for such a time as this.
Some of God‘s peculiar people are in a place of indifference. They are in a place of lack of interest or concern in what God has for them. They are detached from the plans that God has for them by choosing to live in the world. The probation trials and testing times are coming to an end. It is time to walk through the open doors that God has set before you. God will keep you safe from the hour of trial that hour which is about to come on the whole world if you turn to Him and overcome the world. Be enthusiastic and repent, and change your inner self, your old way of thinking, your sinful behavior, and seek God‘s will. He is wanting to deliver you and restore you. Listen to his voice.
For God’s peculiar people who are moving forward into His marvelous light continue on that straight and narrow path. God will continue to stand with you, and he will not allow anyone to stand against you. You will come against adversity, but it will not prevail over you. God will protect you and deliver you. The name of the Lord is your strong Tower. Run to Him and you will be safe and set on high for above evil. Continue walking in obedience. There is a pathway set before you with an entrance into the promised land. Enter in and receive God‘s promises.
It’s time that we as God‘s children come together in unity to spread the gospel across the world from the north the south the east and the west and prepare for the coming of Jesus Christ which is close at hand.
He is bringing a warning to the world through the upcoming eclipse. Listen to His voice. He has already prepared the way! Follow Him!
If you are not a believer and have never asked Jesus into your heart He is speaking to you today to repent and invite Him into your heart and live as His peculiar one. He chose you and I am asking you to choose Him!
