The death of a loved one takes an emotional and physical toll. Managing grief while dealing with funeral details can be overwhelming. Here are some tips...

It’s important to allow yourself to grieve and seek support from friends, family, or a counselor. (Striffler-Hamby Mortuary can connect you with grief counseling professionals.)

Delegate tasks where possible to trusted individuals who can help manage the arrangements. Taking breaks and practicing self-care, such as resting, eating well, and staying hydrated, can also help.

Focus on one task at a time and remind yourself that it’s okay to feel emotional. Surround yourself with supportive people who can offer comfort and assistance during this challenging time.

You don't have to go through this alone. Striffler-Hamby Mortuary is here to help shoulder the burden.
