Bowen Health LaGrange & Steuben were a part of the 6th grade education being provided through JDAI and Community Partners.

Prairie Heights Middle School 6th graders were very attentive and asked a lot of great questions!

The LaGrange County Parent Cafe planning team has released dates for 2026 Cafe's!

They are 3/1, 6/14, 8/30, and 11/15/26.

Organizations can refer clients into a Parent Cafe or people can reach out to sign themselves up by clicking on this link: https://forms.gle/1TszGQ2okMyvb55g8 and indicating the date(s) they are interested in participating.

As details come together, more will be posted on this page and Events will be created.

Representatives of the LaGrange County Mental Health / Substance Use Collaborative presented Prairie Heights High School & Administration Staff with a check from the 9/24/25 Awareness Event.

This contribution would not be possible without the generosity of the following community partners: Bowen Health, Charlotte Dugan, Crossroads United Way, serving Elkhart, LaGrange, Noble and Steuben Counties, Farmers State Bank, LaGrange County, LaGrange County Health Department - LCHD, Northeastern Center, Parkview LaGrange Hospital, Lagrange County REMC, Shipshewana Auction & Flea Market, and Wear Haus Designs!

Funds from this donation will be used to support students & staff related to mental health, su***de, and substance abuse.

Next year’s Awareness Event will again be held in September. Stay tuned for details to come after the 1st of the year!

Have you seen these signs??!! Bowen Health is striving to raise awareness around certain health priorities throughout the year by placing yard signs throughout the county.

In October the health priority is To***co Cessation.

There are a few signs left to put out. If you are located in a high traffic area and would be willing to have a sign placed, reach out!

I just love how this school has positive messaging for their students everywhere - even in the bathrooms!

Bowen Health LaGrange was set up at last night’s Not So Spooky Trail at Maple Wood Nature Center. It was a very busy evening with lots of family fun and activities being offered!

Thanks to the LaGrange County Department of Parks and Recreation for putting such a fun event together!!
