Bowen Health LaGrange is pleased to be a community partner with LaGrange County Public Library branches to raise awareness around public health priorities.

Here is a photo from the Topeka Branch. Patrons can stop in and get a free magnet, free bookmark, and free sensory sticker reminding you to breathe - these are great for water bottles & notebooks! The library has pulled some of their resources that patrons can check out to go along with this health focus!

Prairie Heights Middle School 6th graders were very attentive and asked a lot of great questions!

The LaGrange County Parent Cafe planning team has released dates for 2026 Cafe's!

They are 3/1, 6/14, 8/30, and 11/15/26.

Organizations can refer clients into a Parent Cafe or people can reach out to sign themselves up by clicking on this link: https://forms.gle/1TszGQ2okMyvb55g8 and indicating the date(s) they are interested in participating.

As details come together, more will be posted on this page and Events will be created.

Representatives of the LaGrange County Mental Health / Substance Use Collaborative presented Prairie Heights High School & Administration Staff with a check from the 9/24/25 Awareness Event.

This contribution would not be possible without the generosity of the following community partners: Bowen Health, Charlotte Dugan, Crossroads United Way, serving Elkhart, LaGrange, Noble and Steuben Counties, Farmers State Bank, LaGrange County, LaGrange County Health Department - LCHD, Northeastern Center, Parkview LaGrange Hospital, Lagrange County REMC, Shipshewana Auction & Flea Market, and Wear Haus Designs!

Funds from this donation will be used to support students & staff related to mental health, su***de, and substance abuse.

Next year’s Awareness Event will again be held in September. Stay tuned for details to come after the 1st of the year!
