Coping and regulating might seem similar, but they create completely different outcomes.
Coping helps you push through stress in the moment, but it doesn’t change anything long-term. It’s the Netflix binges, the wine after a hard day, the endless scrolling—temporary relief that keeps you stuck in the same cycle. ♻️
Regulating, on the other hand, rewires your nervous system so you’re not just reacting to stress, but actually changing how your body handles it. It’s the deep breaths, the grounding, the small daily choices that bring lasting calm instead of quick fixes.
One keeps you surviving. The other helps you heal. 🌿✨
