Sacred steadiness.
Sthira is the calm in your breath when life feels uncertain.
It’s the grounded foot in tree pose when your mind wants to wobble.
It’s the regulated nervous system that allows you to respond instead of react.
When we cultivate sthira, challenges don’t disappear — but they meet a steadier version of us. One that can hold discomfort without collapsing. One that can move forward with grace and clarity.
True inner strength isn’t loud or forceful.
It’s stable. Present. Resilient.
And from that place, everything flows with more ease.
I’m carrying this spirit of sthira into our gentle yoga and breathwork class Saturday morning at 8am at LiveMetta. An invitation to ground, to breathe, and to build the kind of strength that supports you far beyond the mat.
