Bronchoscopy International

Bronchoscopy International We strongly believe in the democratization of knowledge, and that patients should not suffer the burden of medical training.

Our training programs help eliminate human suffering caused by variations in medical practice and poor access to learning resources within hospitals and across geographic regions. As the education arm of the 501-C3 nonprofit Foundation for the Advancement of Medicine, our training programs and educational resources are provided free of charge so doctors can help patients with lung, airway, and pleural disorders.

In my previous essay, I asked a question patients often ask, but cannot easily answer with confidence: Who is the best doctor for me? For some time now, I’ve been thinking about where my longer, more reflective writing belongs. This work sits at the intersection of medicine, ethics, art, experience, and the human condition.
I’ll continue to publish educational materials and essays on bronchoscopy.org, but I’ve begun sharing this longer form this work on Substack, a quieter space that allows for sustained writing and direct conversation with readers.
