From dropping off groceries after our Costco run, to spending time with our amazing staff (shoutout Trina ), today was all about connection and showing up.

These are the people creating a safe, consistent environment where real change can happen.

We had the opportunity to sit in on a group session with Native American motivational speaker and behavioral health facilitator Brian Frejo , where he led a sacred purification ceremony. A space to release negative energy, to pray, to reflect, and to reconnect—not just with yourself, but with something greater.

It was a reminder that recovery isn’t one-size-fits-all—it’s physical, emotional, and spiritual.

This is what it looks like behind the scenes. Showing up, day by day, doing the work—and doing it together!

Today is a true 'pinch me' moment. I’m beyond honored to join RFK Jr. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr in this vital conversation on ending the addiction and opioid epidemic.
Just a few years ago, the shame of my struggles would’ve kept me silent, but today, I stand proud—living proof that recovery is real and something to be celebrated.

I speak openly about my journey to break the stigma of addiction and show that there is a solution. Hope is alive for everyone battling this disease, and advocating for them today is a responsibility I’m humbled to carry.
