We’re encouraged to see more people talking openly about mental health. Still, as therapy terms show up more on social media and in everyday conversation, their meanings can get blurred. Words like “trauma,” “OCD,” or “triggered” have specific clinical definitions — and using them loosely can create confusion or minimize real experiences. Let’s break down a few psychology terms that are often misused and clarify what they really mean.

We are praying urgently for Los Angeles. As the LA wildfires rages on, the community is mobilizing to support one another. Here are some of the top resources we have gathered to help those who have been impacted by this disastrous event:

1️⃣Free housing for evacuees through and
2️⃣YMCA and Planet Fitness locations that are not affected by the fire are offering access to their facilities, showers, locker rooms etc.
3️⃣ is offering diapers, formula, hygiene products, and more to affected families.
4️⃣World Central Kitchen, as well as countless restaurants, have mobilized across LA to provide free meals throughout the region.
