About 3 years ago I took a huge risk starting Harbor DPC, an independent membership-based practice that is completely independent of insurance companies. At first, there were skeptics (patients and colleagues). Today the DPC movement is growing more than ever and my growing patient panel is a constant reminder to myself that I made the right decision 🙏🏼

I’m a direct primary care doctor 👇🏼

Aka I work for my patients and not the insurance companies. That means I can offer my patients discounts on labs including more comprehensive lab work as well.

A basic set of labs at our practice costs $30. This includes:
✅ CBC
✅ CMP
✅ hemoglobin a1c
✅ TSH

Some patients don’t have insurance or don’t have good insurance coverage and labs can be 10x this price otherwise.

Coconut oil ≠ health halo 😅

It’s delicious, yes — but also high in saturated fat, just like butter and ghee.
