Our body is home to more than 40 types of neurotransmitters. Each is responsible for carrying out an important and nuanced role within the brain. Without the right balance of neurotransmitters, you’re likely to experience mood disorders or other conditions that can negatively affect your quality of life. If you’ve tried several forms of treatment without finding the relief that you seek, ketamine therapy may be the next step. This FDA-approved anesthetic administered by infusion in a medical setting often delivers incredible results, and we’d love to learn more about you to determine if ketamine could be an option for you.

Our hearts go out to those who continue to suffer in silence struggling with mental health. Let’s make an effort to check in on our friends and family.

Conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and chronic pain are life-altering and can lead to a significant reduction in quality of life. If you’ve tried medication or therapy and haven’t achieved the results that you need, ketamine infusions administered by a medical professional may be an option.

If you’re interested in pursuing ketamine infusions, it’s important to be aware of other medications that may interfere with the process. Although there are several drugs that can impede the positive effects of ketamine, our physicians will help guide you so that you can benefit from this treatment.

The past two years have been mentally and physically challenging for many. If you are one for resolutions, we encourage you to think of your mental health while assessing your goals for the new year.

Here are five New Year's resolutions for your mental health to start off 2022 right:
1. Be kind to yourself. Change can be hard and often takes time. Allow yourself to have feelings and forgive yourself for mistakes. You are here and doing your best, and that’s what counts.
2. Express more positivity. Living through a pandemic has left many people with an abundance of negative feelings. Its ok to be angry or sad, however try to maintain a balance by developing a positive outlook on things.
3. Continue to stay active. If you are already physically active, keep it up! If you've fallen out of the habit, make next year your year. Exercise boosts ‘happy hormones’ in the brain known as endorphins, which will improve your mood and sense of wellbeing.
4. Make sleep a priority. Studies have found that sleep and mental health are connected. This year, try to go to sleep a little bit earlier every night and give your body the rest it needs.
5. Learn more about mental health. One of the best ways to improve your mental health is to understand it. There are online resources available that provide information about common mental health issues or you can talk to a medical professional to learn more about your specific situation.

From all of us as Infuse Ketamine Treatment Center, our best wishes for peace and prosperity in 2022. Happy New Year! 🎉

WHAT IS KETAMINE?

Ketamine is recognized as the safest, most widely used anesthetic in the world. It is an FDA approved Schedule III anesthetic that has been used on both humans and animals for over 50 years. It has also been commonly used with young children. Millions of people have been treated worldwide, with an excellent safety record. When given in low doses (sub-anesthetic), ketamine can produce rapidly evolving and very substantial antidepressant effects in patients with mood disorders. Although it is not completely understood, ketamine stimulates growth cascades within the brain and quickly produces changes in the brain, reversing neural damage due to stress and depression.

Ketamine Infusion Therapy

Ketamine has been discovered to have dramatic beneficial effects on patients with depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, suicidal tendencies, chronic pain syndrome, and fibromyalgia. While other medications and therapies can take months or even years to show results, the effects of Ketamine therapy are immediate. It is a safe and effective treatment that is long lasting and has minimal side effects.
