Your morning coffee ☕️ routine is either building your hormones or quietly wrecking them.

I see this all the time with my clients. They wake up exhausted, grab coffee on an empty stomach, skip breakfast or call it intermittent fasting, and then wonder why they’re crashing by 2 PM, bloated, and craving sugar by dinner.

It’s not a willpower problem. Nothing is genetically wrong with them.  It’s a cortisol and blood sugar problem, and it starts before 8 AM 😬.

Here’s what most women don’t realize: your body wakes up with cortisol already elevated ⬆️ . That’s your natural cortisol awakening response. When you pour coffee on top of that with zero food in your system, you spike cortisol further 📈 , impair your insulin sensitivity, hammer your stomach lining with acid, and send your body a stress signal that affects your hormones for the rest of the day.

The good news for those of you who’s “morning depends” on this ‘warm hug in a mug’? (I use quotes because you only “depend” on caffeine because you unknowingly forced your body to stop producing it’s own energy).

 >>> Adding protein, adding fat, or simply eating first can shift the entire hormonal cascade in your favor.

You don’t have to be perfect with this. You just have to stop running on stress hormones before you’ve given your body anything to work with. It’s like bringing your own appetizer to a restaurant because you don’t want to wait for the restaurant appetizer to arrive. LOL

Drop your current morning coffee routine below and I’ll give you your grade. No judging ya, just tryna help. ☕

I didn’t stutter unfortunately. Here’s what happened.

I did not train and under-ate for those 2 months due to travel, a ton of events, and a 6 week sinus infection. I moved from Tulum to Italy and had pit stops for a few weeks in Los Angeles and Missouri.

Normally, I’m pretty good about keeping up with my protein and finding gyms to work out at. But feeling like s**t, moving across the world, and still trying to run my biz on 0 energy was BRUTAL

Joining a gym in Italy is also not that easy. There are very few places that offer monthly subscriptions or day passes. They all want yearly contracts. And you also need to go to a doctor to get approved to go to the gym first.

All to say there’s been a lot of resistance, but I finally got everything in order to where I was able to go to the gym today.

I HAD A FANTASTIC WORKOUT AND I FEEL FREAKING GREAT. 🤩

I love gym
I love gym
I love gym

I never wanna go two months without it again. I mentally and physically felt like a wet blanket 😂.

The negative: Due to my lack of muscle stimulation, sedentary lifestyle, and lack of eating maintenance calories, I’ve definitely lost muscle and gained fat, which is depressing. I am not as strong as I used to be. My endurance is also s**t.

The positive: i’ve lost fat, and built muscle a ton of times and helped over 1,000 women do the same. So im not worried I won’t be able to do it. Also, this will be the first time I try to lose fat with lower stress levels and better quality foods living in Italy. Let’s see how much easier it will be to rebuild. 😜

Pre workout meal was toast with protein, ricotta cheese, strawberries, and honey on top with a side of egg whites. High carb, low fat, high protein.

Post workout meal was oatmeal granola with a protein shake pour over (protein cereal). Still high carb/protein and low fat.

As your pre/post workout meals should be!

Anyways, just a little status update on my own personal fitness journey!

Can’t wait to get in the groove again! 🤩🤩

She lost 12 lbs but that’s not why I’m posting this.

When Anastazia came to me she was running on empty. Bloated after every meal. Sleeping terribly. Hormones everywhere after coming off birth control. Energy gone. Confidence gone. And anxiety that made even simple social situations feel heavy.

She told me: “I want to love me more because I finally think I’m worth it.”

It wasn’t a straight line. There were weeks where stress won, cravings won, and she was too tired to finish her workout. She kept showing up anyway.

We fixed her gut. Balanced her nutrition so she was actually eating enough (under-eating was making everything worse). Strength training 4x a week at home. And we worked on the stuff nobody puts in transformation posts: the nervous system, the all-or-nothing thinking, the anxiety running the show underneath.

12 lbs down. Bloating gone. Sleep better. Anxiety genuinely improved. She walked into a gym for the first time in years. Started showing up to social things she used to dread. And on our live she said something that made me cry:
“I’ve been looking at myself and loving what I see.”

She’s still progressing after the program ended. Because this was never a plan. It was an understanding of her body she gets to keep forever.

DM me the word READY if you want this too. You’re not broken. The approach was wrong, not you.

I didn’t find health coaching in a textbook. I found it through loss, through rebuilding, through figuring out the hard way that healing isn’t just a physical thing.

I grew up moving between countries and cultures and languages. I got really good at adapting. At reading a room. At starting over. And when I lost someone who changed the entire shape of my world in my early 20s, I had to learn all of that again from scratch.

That’s honestly what led me here. To functional health. To hormones and gut health and the stress connection that nobody was bothering to explain to the women who needed it most.

If you’ve been doing everything “right” and your body still isn’t cooperating, I want you to hear this: you’re not the problem. The approach was.

That’s the foundation of everything I teach inside The Me, Myself & Health Academy.

If any of that resonated, comment INTRO and I’ll send you the first step.

Also, I currently live out of a suitcase with a 14-year-old Yorkie Poo named Chloe and an embarrassing ricotta cheese habit. So now you know. Had to get that off my chest.

If any of that resonated, comment INTRO and I’ll send you the first step.

Bacon 🥓 wrapped dates are one of my favorite appetizers but the original version isn’t exactly supporting your goals.

So I made a swap that tastes just as good.

Turkey instead of bacon. A third of the date instead of a whole one. And protein cream cheese stuffed in the middle to round it out.

This is what sustainable fat loss actually looks like. You don’t have to cut out the foods you love. You just have to get a little creative with how you build them. Small swaps like this add up without making you feel like you’re missing out on anything.

That’s the difference between a plan you white-knuckle through for 6 weeks and one you can actually stick with for life. Your body doesn’t need perfection. It needs consistency with foods you actually enjoy eating.

What’s a food you’d love a healthier version of? Drop it below and I might make it next.

Fat loss isn’t cute.

I ate cold broccoli out of a plastic bag today because I needed fiber with my meal and that’s what I had. No meal prep container. No aesthetic plate. Just me, a bag of broccoli, and zero shame.

And this isn’t even my best one. I once ate cold fish and green beans out of Tupperware on a party boat weeks before my bikini show. Everyone else was drinking and having a good time. I was in the corner with my sad little container knowing exactly why I was doing it.

Here’s what nobody tells you about getting results: it’s not about motivation. It’s about being willing to do the unsexy, weird, slightly embarrassing thing because you know it matters.

You won’t always love it. But you’ll get used to it. And eventually? You’ll stop caring what it looks like.

I dare you to one up me. What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever done to stay on track with your health goals?
Tell me your weirdest one. Comment below. 👇🏼 -

Your nervous system has a priority list and fat loss isn’t on it. 😱

When your body is stuck in fight or flight, it has one mission: keep you alive.

That means everything else gets put on hold. Your hormones. Your digestion. Your fertility. Even building muscle. 💪🏼

So that perfect meal plan you’re following? Those supplements you’re taking? The workouts you’re crushing? Your body literally can’t use them right now. Not because they’re wrong. Because your nervous system hasn’t gotten the memo that you’re safe.

This is why you can do “all the right things” and still feel stuck. It’s not a discipline problem. It’s a nervous system problem.

I see this all the time with the women I work with. They come to me exhausted 🥱 , frustrated 😩 , doing everything “right” and getting nowhere. And the missing piece is almost always this: their body is too busy surviving to actually heal.

What’s one thing that helps YOUR nervous system feel safe? Drop it below.

And if you want the full guide to resetting your nervous system, comment SAFE and I’ll send it straight to your DMs.
