Physical Therapy Aide (Laguna Hills, OC)
Compensation: DOE
Employment type: Part-Time - Flexible 16 hrs / wk.
Shifts are 8:45-2, 2-6:30, or 9-6:30.
We are a outpatient orthopedic clinic looking for a part-time aide to join our professional health care team as a Physical Therapy Aide.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience as PT Aide a plus
Previous front medical office experience
Knowledge and compliance of HIPPA regulations
Knowledge of medical terminology
Requirements:
Detail-Oriented
Comfortable communicating with patients
Computer literate
Strong telephone skills
Strong Customer Service Skills
Able to Multi-Task
Efficient
Team Player
Self-motivated
Extremely organized
Knowledge and skills in patient scheduling software, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Assist PT's with patient care (modalities/exercises)
Scheduling of patients
Moderate phones
Intake of new patients and patient records including chart maintenance
Keep work area and patient reception neat and organized.
Gather and report statistical patient data
Collection of co-pays, co-ins, and deductibles
Spanish speaking a plus
