What a truly joyful time of year! Christmas Eve was filled with smiles, laughter, and the spirit of giving. Our residents enjoyed their gifts, and our staff went above and beyond by bringing presents to share with them. We are incredibly grateful for the trust families place in us to care for their loved ones—it means more than words can say. Accura HealthCare is an Iowa-based healthcare company that manages and operates skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and assisted living centers. Also, Accura chooses not to be referenced as a corporate office but rather a Resource Center. The lower an employee is on the chart (thus having more leadership responsibilities), the more responsibility they have to be a resource for those above them. Accura's upside-down organizational philosophy creates an upside-down triangle that is reflected in the company's logo. Also visible within the triangle of the logo is one person caring for another. This symbol represents the meaning of the company's name. "Accura" is a Latin word meaning "to take care of or give attention to."
