To the former clients, former staff members and all those we call friends of Above It All Treatment Center: we have some important updates and clarifications that we want to bring to your attention. Please read.

The helpful online community of AIA lives on.

Although the treatment center of Above It All is closed and the company is no longer in business, the supportive online community it helped to create continues. The Above It All page and websites are now maintained and managed by the True Help Company - an organization founded by former AIA employees (see more about True Help below). Rest assured, the Above It All page including the Above It All Alumni page will be kept active, moderated and available to all those who have come to enjoy it. This is still the home of the Above It All online community and we encourage all of you to continue your engagement – sharing your stories of strength, hope and recovery.

The page name has changed?

As you may notice, this page as well as the AIA website have been updated to reflect a more accurate context and provision of services. To this end, both the Above It All website and social pages have been renamed “…Treatment Network” versus “…Treatment Center.” We chose this term as it reflects the active network of partner facilities that True Help uses for those seeking treatment. Over the years, AIA has helped thousands of people and many still turn to this page and/or the website when they are in trouble. Although Above It All is no longer an option for treatment, there are several great facilities in our network and help is still just a phone call away. What happened to the AIA Treatment Center?

While many of you may already know this, it seems there is still some confusion regarding the status of the Above It All Treatment Center. After 10 years of providing addiction treatment to over nine thousand men and women, the Above It All Treatment Center, which during its time in business included the associated companies of Above It All, Care Forward Health, Laguna Beach Recovery and My Recovery Help, closed its doors permanently in the summer of 2018. The center was proactively closed by its ownership due to prolonged financial issues. AIA was NOT forcibly closed nor shut down by any outside entities. The Above It All Treatment Center remains closed to this day including all variations of the Above It All Treatment Center directly or indirectly under the same ownership. On behalf of its decade of service, hundreds of dedicated former employees and over nine-thousand clients served, it is the spirit of Above It All that remains open, operational and held in the highest regard.

Who is True Help?

During AIA’s time in business, a small centralized group of AIA Admissions and Outreach employees had the privileged responsibility of advising, comforting and supporting each and every individual who called in seeking treatment. Shortly after the closing of Above It All, this team of former employees joined together with other treatment professionals to create the True Help Company. In doing so, True Help purchased the various websites and digital properties formerly owned by Above It All and have since worked to maintain them with the same helpful purpose and spirit from which they were created. As a service based management company, True Help manages several digital properties, helplines and a call center known as Addiction Treatment Solutions. Through this call center, we provide free advisement and treatment placement services to addicts and families seeking help with addiction. With our network of accredited facility partners, we offer clients a diverse range of facility options including full support before, during and after treatment. For absolute clarity, True Help is a completely separate company with no business affiliation to the former facilities or ownership of Above it All. That being said, we are proud to have been a part of Above It All’s history, and we are honored to continue the community that has made such a difference in so many lives.
