It's emotionally draining, often physically challenging, and always emotionally taxing.

And if you're in a caregiver role, chances are you're doing it alone.

But there are things you can do to make your life easier—and we want to help!

We've put together a list of characteristics that we believe all caregivers should have:

- Persistence. Caregiving isn't always easy, but it's never going to be impossible either. You have to keep trying until you find a solution that works for your loved one and their situation.

- Kindness. When someone is struggling with health issues or other challenges that make caring for them difficult, they need empathy more than anything else. Try your best to be kind when interacting with them so they know they're not alone in this journey they're on together with you!

- Resilience. Caregiving is hard work! Don't let the challenges get too overwhelming for either party involved—make sure you take breaks when needed so no one gets burned out or overwhelmed with stress during the process of caring for each other during this challenging time in our lives where someone needs extra help getting through each day.
