Calcasieu Community Care Center halls were filled with Easter joy 🐣 Thank you to our activities department for stuffing so many eggs for our resident’s Easter egg hunt! From ice cream sundaes to ending the day with cash bingo, we love creating moments that make our residents smile even the ones who aren’t able to physically attend 💕

At Calcasieu Community Care Center, caring for seniors goes beyond our walls.

Our Marketing Director, Alana LeMelle, loves spending time with our friends at the Iowa Senior Center, calling bingo, sharing laughs, and reminding them that CCCC is always here if they ever need a helping hand.

And remember, there is no shame in choosing skilled nursing or long-term care when the time comes. Support, community, and compassionate care matter.

Every morning, these two residents are up and ready waiting for the bus just like any other students. Their destination? School.

We believe life doesn’t stop when someone enters a nursing home. Our residents continue to grow, learn, and stay connected to the world around them. Whether it’s education, community outings, or daily activities, we are committed to keeping our residents active, engaged, and inspired.

Watching them head off to class reminds us that it’s never too late to learn something new. We are so proud of them!

We are so grateful to Mr. Rob and Darius Clayton for spending time with our residents during our Black History Month program. Their presence, wisdom, and powerful conversation made the afternoon both liberating and empowering.

Moments like these remind us that history is not just something we read about it’s something we live, share, and pass down. Our residents felt seen, heard, and uplifted.
