Hannah graduated from LSU HEALTH SCIENCE CENTER in Shreveport with her doctorate degree. She was also a student here with us for 3 months and we are SO EXCITED to welcome her back as a practicing clinician! You might benefit from aquatic therapy if you are:

1. A child with low muscle tone struggling to keep up in PE

You may fatigue quickly, have trouble with balance, or avoid physical activities. The water provides gentle resistance and support so you can build strength and confidence without feeling overwhelmed🩵

2. An adult recovering from knee or hip surgery

This adult may still be too uncomfortable or unsteady to do land-based exercises. Aquatic therapy lets them move with less pain and stress on the joints, helping speed up recovery while staying safe.

3. A teenager with chronic back pain or tightness from sports

You may have difficulty fully stretching or strengthening on land. The buoyancy of the water reduces pain, while the controlled resistance helps restore flexibility and core strength without aggravating the injury.
