November is the season of thanks, and at Stewart Memorial Hospital and Clinics, we are celebrating all the incredible volunteers who give so generously of their time and talents. This month, our spotlight shines on Kristi Jacobs, who has been volunteering in our gift shop for about 10 years!

Kristi’s dedication makes a lasting impact on our patients, visitors, and staff. From running the cash register to restocking shelves, helping with pricing, and assisting wherever needed, she does it all with a smile.

Kristi also gives back to the broader community alongside her husband, helping run the food bank at Lake City Union Church, supporting church circles, assisting with funerals, and cheering on South Central Calhoun Titan events.

When asked about her favorite part of volunteering, Kristi said, “I just like coming here. There’s nothing specific that stands out. I just love coming here and working.” Her kindness, commitment, and positive spirit inspire us all.

Thank you, Kristi, and thank you to all our volunteers for helping make our community stronger, brighter, and more connected. 💛
