🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes at Accura Healthcare of Lake City 🇺🇸

Yesterday, our residents and staff gathered for a meaningful Veterans Day service led by Father Brian Danner from Gentiva Hospice. His heartfelt message and calming presence guided us through a reflection on the bravery and sacrifice of America’s veterans.

Although we have several veterans connected to our community, we were honored to have one veteran present with us in person—Joel. Father Brian took a special moment to recognize Joel, thanking him personally for his service and presenting him with a token of appreciation. It was a touching moment for everyone in the room.

We also lit candles in remembrance, reflected on the freedoms we enjoy, and shared our gratitude for all who have served, both past and present.

To Joel—and to all veterans near and far—thank you for your courage, your sacrifice, and your devotion to our country!

We had such a “gourd” time this week as FCCLA students from South Central Calhoun High School joined our residents for a fun-filled pumpkin painting party!

It was a wonderful afternoon of creativity, laughter, and intergenerational connection — and the pumpkins turned out absolutely adorable! 💛🧡
