Boston 3D brace. Her curve’s angle dropped from 63 degrees to 50 after a month (in brace measurement)

Great results in less than 2 months!
She still needs to wear the brace but both x-ray and clinical, shows the big difference.
Hope she’ll be out of the brace soon😊😊

Happy patient = good day🙂
This patient has severe hyper kyphosis + scoliosis.

He was bended forward and had to use walker.

He wasn’t able to stand nor walk without a walker.

After fitting the custom TLSO.... He stood and walked independently! He loved the brace. Although we recommended him to still use his walker but he already feels great!

Not every day is a good day for us!
Last week I had a sad day: A 47 y.o patient who had a brain injury 4 years ago and never been referred to orthotist for contracture management, came to my office, referred by her physical therapist.
After 4 years, her left wrist is in severe flexion contracture. I am trying to put her wrist in neutral position and she is coming to my office every week for adjustment.
After just wearing the splint for 2 weeks, we are very happy with the changes & improvements.

2- The right image is during adjustments and after wearing the splints for 2 weeks

Wish her physician(s) had sent her to an orthotist 4 years ago.
