Last Friday, 41 of our residents and friends embarked on an unforgettable adventure to The Adler Planetarium! 🚀

We enjoyed a private tour of the Mission Moon exhibit, honoring the incredible legacy of Captain James A. Lovell, a cherished resident of Lake Forest Place. Our group learned about the fascinating science behind the Gemini and Apollo 13 missions and heard stories from Susan Lovell, Captain Lovell’s daughter, who shared what those historic journeys were like from a family perspective.

A huge thank you to our amazing tour guides, Andrew and Ryu, who helped organize this stellar experience. Many residents shared that this was truly “a trip of a lifetime.” ❤️

We were thrilled to welcome State Senator Julie Morrison to Lake Forest Place on October 23rd!

During her visit, Senator Morrison toured our campus, connected with our leadership team, and shared meaningful conversations with our residents. It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase our vibrant community and discuss what matters most to those who call it home.

We recently celebrated our annual Oktoberfest, and what a wunderbar time it was! Residents enjoyed the lively sounds of the Die Musikmeisters band, delicious pretzels, sizzling bratwurst, and of course… plenty of Bier! 🥨🌭🎶
