Yesterday, Lake Forest Place hosted a special Veterans Day program to honor those who have served our country. The program included remarks from our Executive Director, Tony Madl, and Chaplain, Andrew Rosencrans, a resident’s reading of the Gettysburg Address, and musical performances by Tom Stanfield.

We’re deeply grateful to our veterans and to everyone who joined us in recognizing their courage and sacrifice. 🇺🇸 ❤️💙

Last Friday, 41 of our residents and friends embarked on an unforgettable adventure to The Adler Planetarium! 🚀

We enjoyed a private tour of the Mission Moon exhibit, honoring the incredible legacy of Captain James A. Lovell, a cherished resident of Lake Forest Place. Our group learned about the fascinating science behind the Gemini and Apollo 13 missions and heard stories from Susan Lovell, Captain Lovell’s daughter, who shared what those historic journeys were like from a family perspective.

A huge thank you to our amazing tour guides, Andrew and Ryu, who helped organize this stellar experience. Many residents shared that this was truly “a trip of a lifetime.” ❤️

We were thrilled to welcome State Senator Julie Morrison to Lake Forest Place on October 23rd!

🍂 Oktoberfest at Lake Forest Place🍺

We recently celebrated our annual Oktoberfest, and what a wunderbar time it was! Residents enjoyed the lively sounds of the Die Musikmeisters band, delicious pretzels, sizzling bratwurst, and of course… plenty of Bier! 🥨🌭🎶
