WINTER SOLSTICE 2025 - DECEMBER 21 - TODAY

The winter solstice is the shortest day and longest night of the year in a hemisphere, occurring when that hemisphere's axis is tilted farthest from the Sun, marking the start of astronomical winter. The name means "sun stands still," as the Sun's apparent path stops moving lower in the sky before starting its gradual climb back, influencing ancient calendars and celebrations of rebirth and light. Yes! The days will begin to be lighter longer. 🌞
