The child custody process can be stressful and even traumatic, especially for father's who often have to experience our societies biases and lack of understanding of the importance of male role models in a child's life.
Join this 10-week-online group to work on the following goals:
1.- Facilitate personal and collective growth by learning psychoeducation on topics and skills relevant to the impact of child custody on a father’s and their families life
2.- Identify and process emotions, thoughts, physical sensations, and behaviors associated with the child custody process
3.- Develop a safe therapeutic and supportive space to encourage self-expression, empathy, and a connection between group members
4.- Identify cognitive distortions and/or cognitive dissonance related to the child custody process that may be contributing to stress
5.- Learn ways to challenge and reframe thinking traps while practicing non-judgemental awareness
The group is lead by Nandi Rogers, CTP, LAC. She has worked in the behavioral health field for 11 years. Develop a strong therapeutic and healthy alliance with a female figure in your life that understands the impact of the child custody process first hand, and empathizes with the obstacles that mothers AND fathers may encounter throughout this journey.
MUST RESIDE IN ARIZONA.
