OH The Last special of the holiday ! ! ! That went so fast! We would like to thank all of our awesome clients and shoppers for a wonderful year. Thank you to all our customers that purchase our FarmHouse Fresh Products. This is what you support. We wanted to share George’s progress with you. Check your number on the bottom of your products, and check them out on the FarmHouse Fresh website to see who you have supported with your purchases. We are honored to be an affiliate supporter.

We have been trying to take weekly body pictures of George, so we can show his amazing progress. Our team went out this week to get his pictures and compared them to last week and they were SO excited! The team was celebrating, as we added on another big bowl of grain to his meal plan.
But there was this gnawing feeling in my stomach. And I couldn’t really figure it out...

George is recovering so well!! The vets are extremely happy with his progress. His personality is quickly coming out, which is a wonderful sign that he’s feeling better.

But, what was bothering us?
We thought about the tough cases we’ve had over the years and what their first few weeks were like…

Izzy had to stay at the hospital for a week before coming home. She had teeth that had grown into sharp hooks, causing ulcers in her mouth. She had pneumonia so badly that she had to be on a nebulizer for over a week.
Doc was stumbling and struggling to gain weight, until he got on medication to address neurological problems (EPM).

Orion’s first few weeks were terrifying: he had pleural effusion and feet so painful that he would lay for hours and hours every day. He was getting 3 different antibiotics to fight infection and 2 others to provide pain relief.

George’s weight gain has been much more straightforward.
He just needed to be fed.
That’s what has changed for him.
We have been feeding him.
Grain and hay.
It probably took nine months to a year for his body to get in this awful condition. And yes, he has other things that will be addressed: his teeth need to be floated, his hooves trimmed, the open wound healed.
And yet…
Eighteen days.
That’s all it took to watch the spark come back.
There is no secret, no magic… just food, consistency, and love.
We can’t change his past...but look what eighteen days of kindness and care can do.

We are extremely saddened by this great loss of the Adirondack due to a fire this morning. We pray that she can be salvaged to continue making memories on Lake George. Our hearts and prayers are with the Carson family during this time.

We are profoundly grateful for the messages, care, and support sent to us following the Adirondac fire — each note and call has truly meant so much.

At this time, we are still awaiting official details from the fire department and will share confirmed information as soon as it becomes available. It is still too early to know the full scope of what lies ahead, but we will have more clarity in the coming days.

To all couples, planners, companies, and families with events booked: We’ve got you.

Your celebration remains our absolute priority. We will guide you personally through every option — alternate vessels, revised layouts, adjusted timelines, boarding plans, or any additional support needed.

You will not be left without a thoughtful and seamless plan.

For those with spring events in particular, please know we will be reaching out as soon as verified information is in hand. We fully acknowledge how stressful uncertainty can be, and we are here to walk through each step with you.
