***Anthem of Harmony***

Our deepest waters burn with love to nourish and create
But our bloodlust still taste rusty with resentment, slathered with lack of faith
If we are not careful we may too drown
Inflamed tongues of fire may burn it all down
Taste the ashes, choke as we try to swallow the burnt embers of old dust
Quench our desert thirst
Bathe in sacred oil, holy water overflowing all the cups
Cough the grief out of our lungs
Unclenching our own throats
The whole point is to flourish & unfold
not become whatever it is that we believe we must oppose
Some evolutionary ghost of the past
Enough sorrow has been shared
Enough monsters bought and bred
Cultivate gardens that spring up within our hands
Water our roots, burrowing deep down from our feet, nourish the lands
Speak love to the emerald life at dawn
Hiss if we must, forgiveness, filled at twilight through the space between our teeth
Pave our paths with golden stepping stones
Allow our arms to gather it all up
Swell our hearts with rejuvenated cells of freshness, taste the sweet
Feel it in the marrow of our bones
Spit out the spite, run free through the streets
Everyone knows the rose has thorns
And the fragrant oleander is pure poison
When all are tenderly cared for
Her fields will fully flower
dragonflies will come dancing on the air of her love
leaving scents within the dew drops of rain shower

I dreamt God created a ring for me.
It was intricately embroidered & grounded in threads of gold with a diamond shaped Howlite stone.

As I rested on the roots of a mossy tree & swaddled by a dewy sun-kissed fairy forest

Without a whisper of a syllable or the movement of a hand

An invisible presence placed the ring on my finger and breathed a silent book of wisdom into me

The only inkling of meaningful understanding to this gift was a wordless expression carried on breezy radiant breaths of dawn floating straight into my heart

my senses interrupted it as “and with this ring, you embody blessings, share them as a transfiguration, still white flames of love for all”

“The quiet in the void beneath your thoughts”

“The feelings between the beats of your heart”

“In the still intimate communion of our presence”
