Last week we celebrated National Pancake Day the best way we know how—by taking our residents out to IHOP! 🥞
Everyone enjoyed stacks of pancakes, great conversation, and lots of laughs together. Getting out for a special treat like this always brings so many smiles, and it was a wonderful time for our residents and staff to share a fun morning together.
Thank you to IHOP for the delicious pancakes and for helping make it such a sweet day for our residents! 💙

Our residents are truly enjoying them. Puzzles are such a wonderful way to keep minds active, encourage teamwork, and bring lots of smiles around the table.

With this beautiful weather we’ve had all week, our residents at Gems Assisted Living have been soaking up every bit of it ☀️
Lunch has been extra special enjoyed outside in the fresh air, sunshine on our faces, and smiles all around. We’ve also been taking nice walks and truly embracing this Lake Havasu living.
There’s something so refreshing about sunshine, fresh air, and good company. Moments like these are what make our days so special 💛

Yesterday we had the pleasure of attending the “Spill the Tea” Dementia Conference hosted by the Dementia Connection of Havasu. ☕💜

It was such an educational and meaningful event! I loved seeing our caregivers, a few of our residents’ family members, and even my hairdresser attend—because spreading awareness about dementia is
so important.¹

Gems Assisted Living was proud to have a vendor table and be part of this special day. The venue was beautiful, and every detail from the table decorations to the overall atmosphere was just perfect.

Yesterday was one of our favorite national holidays… National Margarita Day! 🍹💃
We had so much fun celebrating “fiesta style” around the table with our residents, sharing laughs, smiles, and of course some delicious margaritas! To make it even more festive, our amazing caregivers joined in the fun by wearing colorful tutus—because it also happened to be National Tutu Day! 🎉
Moments like these are what it’s all about—creating joy, laughter, and special memories together. 💛

We had such an incredible time attending the Hero's in Heels event hosted by Hav-A-Sis 💖✨
Some of our amazing staff dressed up for the occasion, and we were so excited to bring a few of our residents along to experience this beautiful evening with us. Everyone looked absolutely stunning, and the event itself was nothing short of amazing!
From the atmosphere to the energy in the room, everything was just perfect but the best part was seeing our residents smiling, laughing, and truly enjoying themselves. They had an absolute blast, and so did we!
We are so grateful for opportunities like this to create special memories together 💕
