Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday. It was such a beautiful day of gathering, rolling, laughing, and creating side by side.

There is something ancient and comforting about making food together. Before recipes lived on Pinterest and before kitchens were sleek and quiet, people gathered at tables just like this with flour on their hands, stories being shared, aunties teaching cousins, and friends becoming family through simple, steady work.

Yesterday felt like that.
A return to the way community used to happen.
Slow, hands on, honest.

We filled the kitchen with warmth, with chatter, with ravioli that looked perfectly imperfect, and somehow that made them taste even better.

To everyone who showed up: thank you for bringing your energy, your presence, and your love of tradition. Thank you for celebrating the joy of making something together. Thank you for reminding me that these small, handmade moments are the ones that shape a community.

Here is to more days like this, where food becomes connection and a simple dough becomes a memory. 💛

I’m heading over to Kenoza Lake, Hemlock Spa next week for Rachel’s Wind Down Yoga & Sound Bath, and I would absolutely love for you to join me.
It’s the perfect little December retreat — soft, cozy, calming, and exactly what our nervous systems need this time of year.

🧘‍♀️ Wind Down Yoga & Sound Bath

With Rachel
Movement Studio
(Use the link below to sign up!)

This class is pure balm for the body and mind.
Rachel guides a gentle sequence to release tight shoulders, neck, hips, and lower back — all those places we carry holiday tension. Then, with supportive props, you settle into restful restorative poses while she creates the most beautiful live sound bath with crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, a steel tongue drum, and Koshi chimes.

It’s dreamy.
It’s grounding.
It’s peaceful.
And it’s such a lovely way to be together outside of our usual space.

Thank you all so much for being so patient with me, November was a busy one! I finally have the December schedule ready, and I’m so excited to share what’s coming up. 💛

✨ Please join us for Ravioli Day this Saturday!
There’s no yoga class on the 6th, but I will be teaching our Saturday Morning Reset class for the rest of the month, including Christmas weekend, for anyone who wants a little grounding and movement during the holiday season.

And… I have a beautiful New Year’s Day workshop planned for January 1st that I cannot wait to share with you. It’s going to be such a soft, meaningful way to begin the year.

December schedule is below, I hope to see you in class this month. ❄️🧘‍♀️

Thank you again for your grace and for being part of this little community. You mean the world to me.

✨🦊 My heart is so full after this week’s Storybook Paint & Pause.
I had the absolute best time creating, painting, and storytelling with such a sweet, talented group of little artists. Watching their faces light up during the story, seeing their confidence grow as their paintings came to life… it was pure magic.

There’s something so special about gathering around a table, slowing down, and making something beautiful together — and these kids truly blew me away. Their creativity, their focus, their big imaginations… I’m still smiling.

If you’ve been thinking about booking a Storybook Paint & Pause for your family, winter weekend, birthday, or cozy gathering — now is the perfect time.
I bring everything you need (yes, even the drop cloths!), and you get a stress-free hour of mindful art, storytelling, and connection.

These sessions have limited availability and they fill up quickly — so if you’d like to reserve a date, send me a message or email me at JodiSibilia@gmail.com.

Let’s bring a little magic and calm into this season. ✨🎨💛

We talk about forgiveness a lot in yoga, but Jimmy has said it better then I’ve ever heard. If you’re struggling with forgiveness or want to be able to explain it better to your children or close friends I would give this quick video a watch.

This 60-minute Saturday Reset Yoga class is a quiet, grounding practice designed to help you soften into the season, reconnect to yourself, and explore gratitude in a way that feels honest, gentle, and deeply human.

We begin with a spacious guided meditation, a soft invitation to land, breathe, and listen inward as the world grows colder and quieter.

No forced cheer.

No pressure to perform gratitude.

Just presence… breath… and the permission to feel whatever is true for you today.

✨ In this class, you’ll experience:

A slow, grounding warm-up

Gentle movement to support the nervous system

Spacious pauses for reflection

A guided meditation on subtle, quiet gratitude

Permission to explore gratitude in your own way

A writing prompt at the end for gentle journaling

✨ Gratitude, in this practice, can be:

A soft exhale

A moment of relief

Warmth in your hands

Kindness received

Your own resilience

A small comfort in a messy season

A breath that lands a bit more gently than the last

There is no right way to feel gratitude.
There is no right way to show up for this class.
Just let the movement and meditation open a little space inside you to notice what feels supportive, comforting, or nourishing in this season of your life — even if it’s something small.

If you’d like, keep a notebook nearby. When we come to stillness at the end, I’ll guide you to briefly write down whatever surfaced — a word, a thought, a feeling, or just the memory of a breath that felt good.

Come as you are.
Move as you need.
Let this practice meet you gently, right where you are today. 💛

I’ve been missing my yoga community lately — truly. This change of seasons, the shift into the holidays, the weight of everything happening in the world… it feels like a lot right now. And I know I’m not the only one feeling it in my body and my heart.

That’s why I’ve been slowly building this new series:
Yoga and Meditation for When You Feel Like Crap.
Honest, simple practices for the real-life days — the heavy days, the overwhelming days, the days where the best thing you can do is just show up.

This week, I released two new offerings in the series that I’m really proud of:

🌙 When Everything Feels Heavy | Guided Meditation

A soft, quiet, grounding meditation that gives your body permission to rest without trying to fix anything.

🧘‍♀️ When Everything Feels Heavy: Legs Up the Wall + Gentle Body Scan

A 25-minute yoga practice where we do nothing fancy — just supported rest and nervous system nourishment.

These practices are real, raw, and honest — filmed the way I actually practice on the days when I’m not okay. I hope they give you a small place to breathe if you need it.

This season, Rob and I wanted to do something special — a little gathering to say thank you for being part of our Yoga by the Lake family.
We’re calling it Ravioli Day — a Friendsgiving-style celebration where we’ll come together to roll raviolis the way the great-grandmothers did in Italy: by hand, with laughter, and with love.
It’s not a class, just a cozy afternoon of being together — sharing stories, traditions, and a really good meal.
✨ We’ll:
Make ravioli together, step by step
Sit down to eat what we create
Each take home a small bag of handmade ravioli to freeze for later
Come as you are — no need to bring anything but yourself (and maybe your favorite apron if you’d like).
This day is about simple joys — hands dusted with flour, full bellies, and the warmth of friendship.
Please RSVP so we know how much pasta dough to make! https://evite.me/kD5XHgcfzM

There are no sign-ups for tomorrow’s Saturday morning reset class, so we’ll go ahead and cancel. Rob and I will be away next week for a business conference, so we’ll use that time to prepare for the trip.

If you miss practicing with me or want to stay connected while I’m away, I’ve been building a small online library, simple, honest practices you can do anytime. Real yoga and meditation for the days that feel messy, heavy, or just too much.

If you’ve been carrying too much lately, I hope these give you a small place to rest, to breathe, to feel, and to remember: showing up for yourself doesn’t have to look perfect.

Don’t forget to RSVP!

Sometimes everything just feels upside down. The world’s loud, your mind’s spinning, and you’re so tired of trying to hold it all together. This meditation isn’t about fixing or forcing anything — it’s about sitting in the mess and remembering you’re still allowed to breathe, rest, and just exist.

I’m not sitting here as someone who has it all figured out. I’m sitting here being imperfect right alongside you — messy hair, oversized T-shirt, and all.

Together, we’ll take a few honest breaths, let the ground hold us, and make space for whatever’s showing up — exhaustion, frustration, numbness, all of it.

💛 No pressure. No perfection. Just presence.

✨ What to expect:

10 minutes of gentle, grounding guidance

No fancy breathing, no spiritual bypassing — just real talk and real rest

Space to release the weight you’ve been carrying

A quiet reminder that you’re not alone in feeling this way

You don’t have to feel better to show up. You just have to show up.
I’m here with you. Let’s get through it together.

Sometimes you’re not looking for motivation or magic. You’re just… over it. Over the noise, the expectations, the effort it takes to keep showing up.

This class is for that kind of day — the “leave me alone, I can’t do one more thing” day. No fancy leggings, no fake smiles. Just you, me, messy hair, and a practice that meets you exactly where you are.

We’ll breathe, stretch, and move in a way that feels grounding — not performative. It’s not about doing it right; it’s about doing something.

💛 No rules. No goals. No pressure. Just yoga that helps you feel a little less heavy.

🕯️ What to expect:

45 minutes of gentle, real-life movement

Options for rest when you need it

Space to breathe and release the mental clutter

A reminder that it’s okay to just exist

✨ You don’t have to fix yourself to show up. Let’s just move through the crap together.
