💦 Adaptive Waterpark Day 2026 is Back! 💙
Fundamentally Awesome is bringing families together for one of our favorite events of the year, a fully inclusive waterpark experience designed for children and individuals who need a little extra care and the people who love them. What makes this day different?
This is not a typical crowded waterpark day. The entire experience is intentionally structured so families can relax and actually enjoy themselves.
You can expect:
• Lowered noise levels
• Calm and reset areas
• Extra care identification bands for understanding and safety
• Volunteers until 3pm
• Flexible food accommodations for sensory and dietary needs
• A welcoming environment for all abilities, diagnoses, and support levels
• Siblings, parents, caregivers, and friends included
For many families, this is the only time they can visit a waterpark without stress, judgment, or constant explaining. It is a day where kids can just be kids and families can breathe.
Spots will fill quickly, so be sure to register early.
All parties must have an adult attending or be able to care for yourself in every event. All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
✨️ We are still looking for volunteers, especially individuals with experience or training supporting children and adults with special needs, and we are actively seeking sponsors who want to help make this inclusive event possible.
